Next Tuesday I am supposed to be talking to the parents at school.

I’m supposed to be introducing Ivy.

What I’m going to say, well

I’m not exactly sure.

The little ‘big school’ has been remarkable.

They have listened

and worked with me

to make Ivy and Noah’s transition a good one.

There have been countless meetings

and education mornings,

there have been questions and paperwork flying around since second term last year

and this opportunity has been on the cards too.

Now it’s here though,

what do I say?

How can I approach these parents

without sounding too…

precious

precocious

annoying

over protective.

I need to know what I should say

and that what does come from my mouth hits home

without hitting any nerves.

I’d love your advice, my friends.
