A little bit of holiday to carry always.
We didn’t do souvenirs.
No brightly coloured t shirts or any of the cheesy keepsakes that usually find their way into our suitcases.
We stumbled across a small eclectic store one morning
filled with this and that
and a mixture of incense and the ocean.
It reminded me of sunshine
and fresh air
and freedom.
We found leather and beads in a rainbow of colours
and chose a memory.
We’ll miss it every day
until the next time.
