Everytime we see a doctor now, we are asked if Ivy has an alert tag, that she wears.

The simple answer to that is;

No.

She doesn’t.

I’m not exactly sure what we are supposed to put on an alert tag

or rather how we are supposed to put all the info (including an emergency phone number) into three short lines

or if it is all that important anyway

or if Ivy would agree to wear one.

The push is on though for Ivy to have one - the doctors, the preschool and any other place she attends, without me.

There are some cute ones out there, even one with a mermaid on the front, which Ivy might go for but the question reamains;

does she really need one?
