It’s been a year.

How do you celebrate something like this?

How can I describe how this little medication has changed Ivy’s life?

How can I tell you how thankful I am?

When the blogging community came together to support us.

When the doctors finally made a good decision.

That we went from constant, overwhelming infection, hospitalisation and isolation,

to preschool

and family outings

and no pneumonias.

The Intragam has interrupted lung disease and slowed the pulmonary hypertension.

Okay, so we have hit a stumbling block lately

and there is more applying and appealing going on

and we have had a wild ride with infection these last few months

but

life is good, so much better than what it was

for Ivy,

for all of us

and so

it is a celebration.

It’s National Blood Donors Week  this week.
