I wish…

…I had my camera with me.

I would show you photos of the girl

and how much better she is looking today.

I wish I had it in me to enter the I heart faces  sports category this week but I don’t (sorry mum).

I wish I could show you the holter monitor she has on her, finally trying to work out what is going on with that heart of hers, which has been causing her all sorts of trouble for the last day or so.

I wish I could tell you when this would be over

but word from the good doctor is that we are looking at next week sometime.

I wish I could have captured the moment two big parcels arrived at the hospital and we opened them up.

Ivy’s face was so filled with joy and happiness.

We have beeen crafting and colouring our day away  (and  looking through my rose coloured glasses).

We’ve already made some cellophane butterflies and hung them in her room and coloured in a felt fairy.

I wish I could hug each and every one of you.

I don’t think you know how much your words and support help to get through all of this.

Glad Ivy is having some improvements. Nothing like some big parcels to cheer people up :)

I wish we could be there to take the heartache and stress away and to take turns entertaining and comforting both of you.

I wish that Ivy was at home playing happily with her brothers and sisters.

I wish that neither of you had to go through this.

Thinking of you Tiff.
I wish you didnt’ have to go through all this. Ivy is one amazing little girl, she always looks so content. Mature beyond her years maybe.

You must be having camera withdrawal by now!!
I’m so glad that you are focusing on the positives (the lovely care packages) as much as you can in the midst of everything that is going on.
Will wait to hear the updates on Ivy’s health - hope her heart is hanging in there.
