I need your help.

Ivy was so brave this last month just gone that I bought her a pettiskirt from Princess Ratbag.

She loves it.

She has worn it for four days straight and is wearing it today, while lying on the lounge, too sick to move.

Princess Ratbag are having a photo competition, looking for a new face and, well, I think Ivy would fit the bill. (Yes, I know I’m biased).

Besides, she really does love that pettiskirt.

Last weekend we went out and had a photo shoot.

Ivy was such a gorgeous little model and it was so hard to choose.

You can see all of the altered photos here (there were hundreds more) but I think, with the help of Guera, Lani, Trish, Mum, David and assorted children, we have narrowed it down to a handful.

This is where I need your help.

I need you to pick which is your favourite because I just can’t choose and I can only submit one.  I have a personal favourite but I need to know which one appeals to the most people.

So, if you would all be so kind, have a look, pick your favourite and let me know, I would very much appreciate it.

Then I can put the photo in the competition and cross my fingers tightly.

Ok tiff I will be totally honest with you then
I really like #1 except for the fact that you have chopped off the bottom of her shoes. If all her feet were in the shot that one would be a winner. I dont like #2 her foot is blurry and the shot is awkward.
#3 Is fantastic except for the fact that her face is in too much shadow and you cant see how cute she is.
#4 is good. #5 is really good but number #6 has zing.

First and foremost, those are all very gorgeous shots, great photographer, and of course, what an amazing subject!! You should be proud of all of them.

So I polled a few of my friends, our results are below:

Pic #1 - 3 votes
Pic #2 - 2 votes (my personal fave)

I don’t envy you in having to choose one shot, they are all fabulous.

You really should consider this as a profession, you are way too talented for it just to be a hobby. I went to a studio here yesterday in Chicago to view proofs that a professional photographer took of Caden for a PTA benefit, and this photographer is charging $US 95 for one 5″ x 7″ photo (framed/matted); $195 for one 8″ x 10″; $295 for one 11″ x 14″, etc. He specializes in framed “groupings”, but he still charges by the photo, so four 5″ x 7″ pics in one large frame is something like $385 US. You could make a fortune with your photos here in the US. You’re just as talented, if not more.

Think about it, you could come out to visit me, bring your camera and make enough to keep you flush for a bit, even pay for your trip! I know how to cut mats. I could be your US connection until I make my way to Australia :)

Oh my goodness, no wonder you can’t chose they are all so GORGEOUS and each pic shown tells a different story….
For the competition my suggestion is to go with #4
but what a hard choice, what a pity you can’t send off them all! She would win for sure! Hands down the cutest little pettiskirt wearer.

Wish I had a little girl to buy one of those sweet pettiskirts for…

I personally like #1 and #6. #1 is a great photo and also shows the full length of the skirt. #6 is a great photo and sticks out against the background very nicely! She looks like such a happy girl! :) She’s really beautiful!

No wonder you can’t choose - they are all great! I love #1 or #6 - they show off the skirt well in addition to being really cute. I’d love a skirt like that! My favourite is actually #5, but I don’t think it’s the best one to submit.
