Ivy and I just did our first newspaper interview and on Friday, we are speaking on the radio.

It’s pretty exciting to be able to promote some awareness about immune deficiency and the importance of giving blood.

I know I talk about it quite alot and you might all be getting a bit tired of reading it  but the Intragam P (IVIG), which is made up of plasma that other people donate, has changed Ivy’s life.

Changed all of our lives.

For the better.

The Australian Red Cross have decided to have Ivy as their Ambassador, for the month of May, essentially making her the face of blood recipients in NSW.

By having Ivy’s story out there, I’m hoping that people will see how their donations have made it possible for Ivy to have as normal and  happy life as possible and maybe some will consider donating because they can associate with a sweet little three year old girl with clippies in her hair and a sparkle in her eyes.
