Weekly Winners.
Is it Weekly Winners time again?
I have only a few photos for you this week. Ivy had her Intragam on Monday and then proceeded to get sick, catching some preschool lurgy.
It has not been fun.
Anyhow, here is the best of our week, go on over to Lotus’ blog for all of the participants.
Maddy, Immy and Lily, along with Noah and Ivy created a beauty salon and invited me in for some pampering.
Noah was at the door. See his “lappie”?
I had to hand the ticket over but not before he said his line
“Can I help you”?
I got in trouble when I said the wrong thing. I was supposed to say “I have an appointment”.
Not “Oooh, this looks nice”
or
“You’re the cutest doorman I’ve ever met”.
Once I got the script right though, he called Ivy over. (She was my masseuse)
“Right this way” he directed me to the rocking chair.
My “foot rubber”.
What you need to know is that about five seconds after the photo was taken, she declared my foot old and gross and skipped away to the next table.
A three year old tantrum insued because the girls told her that she could not be the boss of all the stations.
My pamper time was therefore cut short.
Oh dear.
These are a few others from the ‘messy’ shoot.
I didn’t get into the top ten but I was Angie’s pick! That is so exciting for me!
Noah had issues with being painted. Many issues.
He was in tactile stimulation overload and was crying.
His nose had started to run.
“Oh no, Maaaarmeeeee, I got snot!
I got snot and paint!
I got painted snot!
Waaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!”
Ivy – not so much.
Such concentration.
She was melancholy after Noah declared it all too much and went off to the shower to depaint.
On Friday, (yeah we lost a few days) we attempted some outside time.
Blowing bubbles.
Bubbles are fun right?
So sick but blowing bubbles is a really good way of making kids breathe deeply. There was method in my madness. Some chest physio, Mummy style.
I didn’t even do her hair (whoops). She lost the plot shortly after and wanted to go back inside, Noah was devastated.
This is my favourite for the week. Tearful resignation of his fun being dashed. Poor little guy.

Great pics!
Your photo was so absolutely perfect for the theme at iHeartFaces last week. I really loved it and it made my day that you were so excited to be picked!

gorgeous pics..but with kids THAT cute ……..how could you fail??
hugs
Gorgeous, Tiff, as usual but I just love devastated Noah, too, the b/w of Noah in profile & disheveled Ivy blowing the bubbles at you. Congrats for Angie’s choice at I Heart Faces. You must be a winner soon, I’ll bet!
I always love your photos. The painting looks like great fun, although I think Amy would probably not enjoy it that much. She’s finicky like that.
oh my.. those little boy tears……. beautiful!
AWESOME pics….love, love, love the messy painting pics! I can relate to Noah’s melt down. My little guy hates to be messy at all, and one time I painted with a brush on his belly and he got so over-loaded! “Mommy, please wash it off now!”
I love the first one of Ivy blowing bubbles. So fragile, those lips, that little curl…
But poor little Noah breaks my heart. That kid has such a hard life- NOT!
Wish I had your models to work with
Love the bubbles shots and the ones of the messy fun. I love their little stall that they put together, looks like so much fun!
The first body painting shot was precious. I loved all of these.
hehehehe I am giggling away here at your old and gross feet, lol…It is the thought that counts isn’t it????
Aww, just adorable. LOve the painting shots and teh bubbles day shots, as well as the story. Cuties.
Awwwww!!!! All of them are fabulous, and I love how you tell the story that goes with it. It feels like being there with you!
Precious, precious moments.
So gorgeous all of them , Noah breaks my ‘hearts’.
I suppose going in early on the bubbles was payback for the paint. Cute pictures and great story line to go along with them.
Hmmmm – tough as always!
But I think my favs are the bubble blowing series!
You are AWESOME Tiff!
Love the running dialogue that goes along with this week’s pictures. The drama!
I think my favorite is your salon doorman!
I’m sorry your spa day got cut short. It was a nice thought though.
Love them painting each other! Priceless!
Great shots! The “messy pics” are priceless!
Great idea for them to set up a spa for you! I love the messy pics and poor Noah in the last shot
Your high energy style is always my favorite thing about your portraits!
Beautiful shots. My favorites were the painting shots and the tearful one.
Oh, they’re all so lovely! The pic of Ivy rubbing your feet is just precious (as is the entire story of the “salon”). But the pic of Noah and his tear…just breaks my heart! Love it!
Love them…like I always do.
Those messy shots are so fun! I’ll have to get my kids to do that in summer…on a day when I’m reallllly motivated and don’t mind messy, paint-filled kids.
Oh, and that last picture just about makes me cry…oh my.
Those messy shots are just precious!
wonderful photos.
Seriously, that last shot is almost criminal
owwww lovely pictures of the kids. They’re all precious shots and should be treasured.
Thanks for visiting also
Great agitation from Gem: “No-No’s cryin’, Mum! He’s cryin’!” But she loved the body art pics
I think my fave is Ivy rubbing your feet—she looks very diligent in her duties. I love your captions, it makes all the pictures come alive.
Poor Poor Noah… having his bubble fun dashed by Ivy, and yet befitting since he dashed her hopes and dreams when he went to depaint. Give and take.
That’s such a lovely story about a little bit of pampering and then loads and loads of fun!
lovely week in photos – love the storyline the photos tell
The messy shots are gorgeous!
Seriously, woman, you are a photographic inspiration! Such gorgeous, gorgeous photos, as ever. xoxo
Awwww…. Those shots are so gorgeous!
And the painted snot? Classic.
I really need to put a good camera on my Santa list this year, so that I can keep up with you
Such full of life photos!!
How sweet that they pampered you or at least attempted to…so cute!!
Oh, those tears…
Soooooo sad (and sooooo cute!) I *heart* Bub’s Salon! That was an adorable idea
We did bubbles for breathing therapy too — and whistles, and balloons, and scratch and sniff stickers…
Great work, Mum!
Your photos are always so wonderful. Love the bubbles — that last one of Ivy is fantastic!
