I’ve got nothing funny, nothing witty, no looking back on the year that was,

2008 is gone.

I can’t say I was unhappy to see it’s tail end.

It has been one of our hardest years.

Oh, there have been good times, don’t get me wrong.

There have been parts of the journey that have been great.

Alot of which, I have all of you to thank - people out there who have become my support system, people who have reached out through the screen and touched our lives, when they have their own troubles.

I’m not sure what 2009 will bring.

There are big days ahead of us, days which might change the course of all of our lives but for now, for today, I am hopeful that this year will be much better than the last.
