This week heralded Noah and Ivy’s preschool orientation.

They were so excited!

There is something special about twin love.

Beautiful elfin girl.

This is not a morning fairy. A gorgeous angel, even if she doesn’t do the A.M.

The fairies escaped to the garden.

If we opened our minds to enjoyment, we might find tranquil pleasures spread about us on every side.  We might live with the angels that visit us on every sunbeam, and sit with the fairies who wait on every flower.  ~Samuel Smiles

littlenoahfairy6.jpg

The fairies went from the world, dear,
Because men’s hearts grew cold:
And only the eyes of children see
What is hidden from the old…
~Kathleen Foyle

And as the seasons come and go, here’s something you might like to know.  There are fairies everywhere:  under bushes, in the air, playing games just like you play, singing through their busy day.  So listen, touch, and look around - in the air and on the ground.  And if you watch all nature’s things, you might just see a fairy’s wing.  ~Author Unknown

Garden fairies come at dawn,
Bless the flowers then they’re gone.

Your children are so beautiful!!!

I’m glad they have such a talented photographer as their mother!!!

You gotta watch them garden fairies … Before you know it, you’ll have an infestation.

They’re quite hard to get rid of, too.

Mmm …I can feel a trip to the hardware store is in order.

How sweet and magical are they?? My three year old boy often wears fairy costumes along with his five year old sister and I love it.
I also loved the modern ipod fairy.

I just love all the fairies at the bottom of your garden & don’t you know? fairies always come out to play as dawn breaks. My favourite this week though, is twin love. Noah looks so manly & Ivy so coquettish, however all, as always, are delightful winners.

I love that final photo.

I love them all! Every one of them. Beautiful fairies.

Just last night and today I took many pictures of Mack wearing dresses that his sister had ‘helped him into’. So sweet!

I want a twin. I want that kind of unconditional love.

Boo was so excited to see Ivy back in weekly winners this week. Our favourite is Twin Love, and Boo’s second favourite is Ivy in the sandpit!

Tough, but it’s the last one for me too. Just gorgeous.
DBT - do they have a fairy eradication system at the hardware store? Golly, no wonder guys love those places so much - they’ve got everything!

BTW Tiff, Dave said again today how great your shots are and how very talented you are. No, I don’t put him up to it - he knows good photography when he sees it! (And if he didn’t think it was any good you know he wouldn’t say anything.) Just felt I needed to give you a virtual *slap* around for not believing in yourself as much as you should.
Ok. I think I’m done ;)

This is definitely my most favourite of all of your Weekly winners photo series. :) What beautiufl children and Tiff, I can’t get over your ability to capture the most simple of emotions (but hardest to photograph) in your photos.

Okay! After MUCH deliberation and thought I have chosen my favs for this week - but GOSH it was hard!

So I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Tinkerbell series of Ivy and the twin love photo at the beginning!

AWESOME as always!!

Oh Tiff, they are ALL beautiful and creative and lovely photos! Picking a fav or two was so hard! But, i think the twin love about did me in, as did the two garden fairies at the end.

It always touches me so to see pics of Ivy & Noah holding hands, or cuddling, or hugging, or one kissing the other - it really is something special - twin love verses ‘ordinary’ sibling love, isn’t it?! I hope they always have that, I hope the hand holding never stops for them and I hope they are always and forever there for each other, like no other sibling could be.
