Survived, did I, from the murky depths of the spooky sleepover. Survived just so I could put my Weekly Winners up.

Hosted by Sarcastic MomĀ  every Sunday.

Great food pictures. I love the eyeball cakes. That’s something I never would have thought of. I’m so glad to hear that people are choosing Halloween parties as a way to celebrate. So much safer than sending kids doorknocking to take candy FROM STRANGERS.

Seriously, girl, if I had the money I’d fly you and the family down here so you can sit me down and try to teach me how you take photos

The glitter I used is a very chunky edible glitter. It’s dry and tasteless so while it can look impressive it doesn’t taste great. For pale colours pixie sticks look nice but will be a bit of a sour shock. I use coloured sugar or edible glitter for bright colours. For the shiny shimmery look I use shimmer dust.

You can buy all of that at a cake decorating store. I also buy it from the cake deco store on ebay. They have a great range of products and ship fast. Here are some of their products -

Well for a change, I actually do HAVE a fav this week, and it’s of Ivy with all things flouncy. The way she is turning to look back at you, with that impish look on her face - it truly is worth a thousand words and then some!

Older girls all look sufficiently spooky-ooky, and the food spread looks fit for a king!

Ya done good Tiff. As always. :-)
