On tigers and therapy dogs…
Oct 16th, 2008 by Tiff

Once upon a time a Mummy went searching for her very quiet children. She had noticed the eery silence and thought to herself that it was not a good sign to have such a still house.

The Mummy searched the bedrooms high and low and the lounge room but she neglected to look behind the couch.

She could not find the little boy and the even littler girl.

Suddenly she heard some giggling and when she did check behind the couch she discovered that she no longer had toddlers.

She found that some tigers had moved in!

These were not your average tigers.

They had red stripes and very red claws.

One was a spikey haired tiger (he had an enormous roar)

and the other was a curly top.

They thought they were the funniest tigers, this side of the boonies.

These tigers were very talented.

They could play the piano (yes, both of them)

The most remarkable thing about these tigers was that one suddenly became a therapy dog and the other could walk on two legs (with a bandage wrapped around it for good measure).

You see, after they came to visit the Mummy’s house (and eaten all of the gluten free corn crackers out of the pantry) they had to go via the “hop - si - tal” to visit all the children who were having “IV oh gee”.

They could think of only one little girl, who needed this and her name was “IvyMcGivey”.

So they gave the Mummy a kiss and a cuddle and headed off, down the hallway to find her

and that’s the end of the story…

except for the part where the Mummy had to scrub the permanent red marker off the tigers’ faces.

Pehaps that is a tale for another day.
