Weekly Winners – big week edition.

weekly_winners.gif

Sarcastic Mom’s Weekly Winners is here again and it was a busy week, my friends.

On Monday and Tuesday it was a beautiful sunny day, so we played outside.

springthing.jpg

The Ivy girl wore my sun hat and mowed the lawn (it needed it too)

septembergirl.jpg

She was a little quiet.

theshars.jpg

On Wednesday and Thursday the girls were all in a concert. Immy and maddy were belly dancers.

ivmads.jpg

Ivy posed as well (so did Noah but that boy moved too fast to catch anything good)

lily.jpg

Lily was the ‘star’ of the show. She was the Olympic torch carrier.

cameramyprecious.jpg

David brought home my brand new baby…

drnoah1.jpg

Ivy went down with another lurgy, so Dr Noah came to help. “Can I listen to your heart? Big breasts”. (breaths)

drnoah2.jpg

Is this thing working?

drnoah3.jpg

Yes, that really is the bill…

ivy.jpg

Ivy was not amused.

playdoughmen.jpg

Playgough that was brought for the babies, soon became the plasticine family courtesy of Lily

The wizard with the MP3 player

The kitty fits in well. It has attention seeking behaviour, a requisite for this household.

david.jpg

On Sunday it was Father’s Day (happy father’s day, Dave)

ivygirl3.jpg

The girl was feeling better.

longlashboy.jpg

Noah gave his Dad chocolate coated jelly snakes…

blueyes.jpg

and then ate them all.

twinnies2.jpg

I tried to get some photos of the big twins together…

twinnies.jpg

It didn’t last long.

twinnies3.jpg

Yep, photo shoot definitely over.

fathersday08.jpg

We packed up the crew and went to the beach because the rain that had been bucketing down for four days straight stopped and it was Daddy’s Day and we all needed to get out. It was still freezing and the beach was deserted.

beachflower.jpg

Spring was trying to tell us it was here.

noahs-sleepinf-feet.jpg

Tired feet rested afterwards, on the way home.

ivysleepingfeet.jpg

Her first outing out of the house in over a week and the little girl was exhausted

davenoah.jpg

They all love him so.

My favourite for the week is definitely the one of Dave and Noah at the end! Precious indeed!! You did have a big week! Hope Ivy is on the mend – so good of Noah to look after her!

Awww Tiff, those photos are so gorgeous. Every time I see the photos you’ve taken of your families, I remind myself that time is so short & precious and I need to get my butt into gear.

Glad to see that Ivy is feeling a little better and fabulous that she could go to the beach with the family. :) Happy Father’s Day to Dave, his entire family obviously adore him.

Beautiful pictures. I love the sunhat and all the black and whites.

  • HennHouse (Karin) (78 comments.):

Wow! you are so amazingly gifted with a camera! I love how your photos are more than just snapshots–you capture everything. Tiny curls. Little pouts. Sad eyes. Silly smiles. Sand between tired toes. Adoring glances. Cold waves and play-doh ear buds.

Thank you so much for sharing.

  • katef (193 comments.):

  • Rebecca (Ramblings by Reba) (38 comments.):

Um… you’re not going to make me pick a favorite are you? Because I just cannot. So lovely.

  • Dina (95 comments.):

    You have a beautiful family!

    Lovely photos!!!!! I’m guessing you’re a professional?????

I love the playdoh creatures!!!!!! They’re so colorful.

  • I can’t pick a favorite, either… you got some great shots!

  • Jientje (80 comments.):

    Sigh!
It looks like a hell-ish week here too, but you managed to get great pictures too!

I am loving the ones of Noah!!!

Those are all fabulous! But the first one is my absolute favorite.

  • Gattina (6 comments.):

All pictures are beautiful, what a selection !

  • Annie (28 comments.):

They are all so wonderful, it’s impossible to choose a favorite!!

However, I do love the ones of Dr. Noah. I’d let him be my doctor! And the one of the beach is awesome…

  • Mr Lady (70 comments.):

Happy Father’s Day, Dave, and to your whole gorgeous family.

  • Jenty (14 comments.):

Wow Tiff, what stunning stunning photos!
    Happy Father’s day to Dave.
That photo of the beach is gorgeous, but my fave is the first one

  • Maggie's Mind (62 comments.):

So very much to love about these shots. Every week, gorgeous. You know what my favorite is, though? The one of the belly dancers because even with covered faces, you can see it in their eyes that the girls are smiling. Yours are such a beautiful and happy bunch. Love is clearly abundant in your family. Gorgeous.

  • Karen of Sillymonkeez (19 comments.):

Love the shot at the beach and the last one of your little doctor.

    WW- Worth Waiting for.

  • Glad to see Ivy is feeling well!

You may think those pics of the twins were ruined, but they’re probably pretty indicative of their true personalities!

I also like the pictures of the little toes. (Num num!)

  • Mama Zen (3 comments.):

The wizard with the MP3 player rocks!

  • Holly (125 comments.):

Wonderful pics! My fav? The one of your girls the belly dancers! I love the twinkle of mischief in their eyes!

But then I love the series of the two of them, ending with the mischief faces.

I also love the feet pics.

Hmm, can’t really decide – too many great ones to choose from!

I’ve replied to both your comments on my blog – not sure how else to contact you and not sure if you would ‘revisit’ my blog comments to see replies – but wanted to know replies were there if you were interested in reading.

My F-I-L has been gone for a while, so had forgetten Father’s Day there was in Sept – it looks like David enjoyed his day – as he deserves to. Hmmm, so how did YOU end up with the cool new toy?!? :-)

  • Rebecca (5 comments.):

What a fabulous set of shots!
Love all the photo of your beautiful kids, especially the first 2 of your girl in the hat.

The beach one is spectacular, that is a framer for sure!! :)

And I have a soft spot for the kitten :)

  • Lisa Ann (14 comments.):

All of your photos are great. My favorite is the first one.

  • As always, your pictures are breathtaking. Beautiful.

  • Kat (90 comments.):

They are all beautiful photos… I couldn’t pick. I do think the last one of the big twins is my favorite, though. Funny! The beach shot is gorgeous. The one of your husband, is really nice – he looks like he’s looking at someone he loves very much. Dr. Noah is adorable. The first shot of Ivy slays me. Very nice!

  • river:

All lovely photos this week, the black & whites are terrific, especially the first one, but my favourite of the lot is the beach one. I just love big breaking waves.

  • Childlife (228 comments.):

All kinds of beautiful, Tiff! Those curls of Ivy’s are just killing me — sooooooo cute!

  • Angel (2 comments.):

I found you through Xboxfornappyrash, and I’m glad I did! Of course I linked to Ivy’s story and your blog, and while I’m not sure more signatures would matter, they certainly can’t hurt!

I’m enjoying reading about your family so much. What gorgeous Father’s Day pictures! It’s good to see that new toy will be put to great use. You have a beautiful family, and a great way with words.
