Captain Underpants
He is undie obsessed, my boy.
He has a mean collection building.
Wiggles and Thomas duds, cutie little boy Y – fronts and some adorable boy legs on the way from oceans away.
(Okay, it might be my collection because, he looks so gorgeous in the teeny tiny skivvies and I am in love with my own son’s bottom)
Um, yeah, back to the point of the post…
You see, no undies means no preschool and he knows this.
The pressure is on.
He hasn’t had much luck so far,
there have been lots of misses and not many hits
but he can pick a pair of nickers from a mile away.
You know, Daddy wears undies, so he can go to preschool and Mummy can go, because, well, you know the drill.
So, when we went to the girls’ concert tonight and there were some of our indigenous brothers on stage in nothing but lap – laps, who could blame the little guy, when he yelled out, across the audience, in an incredibly quiet part in the show…
“Hey man! You got the undies on!”
Oh Captain Underpants, you make me laugh!

Hee hee, that’s so cute!
I suppose I’d better start thinking about potty training too.
WAY too cute!
My son just says things to me like…
“I will wear undies when the weather gets warmer”
OR
“I will wear undies when I’m big. I’m not big yet – still little!”
Just pray he doesn’t take on the responsibility for checking others for the presence of knickers.
15 years or so and you won’t be able to keep them on him!
Noah rocks.
With Tess we had lots of conversations about who had a penis and who did not. I am retroactively happy we did not go to a show with indigenous dancers…
LOL. Gorgeous.
Is it bad that I want to steal him and kiss him?
Hilarious !!!!!!!
So cute.
Bwaaaa haaaaa haaaaaa!
Gotta love that kid.
Nothing like the promise of pre school to get the toilet training underway. With summer just around the corner you’ll have a fairly easy time of it too. Knickers can rinse and dry in minutes rather than hours. Toddlers don’t seem to pee as much in the summer either I’ve noticed.
Now THAT is one funny boy!
Mine will only potty in the potty chair if I carry the cup around and “catch” the fountain when it happens. UGH.
Lol! My little boy (21 months) was wearing Dora the Explorer panties today, over his diaper, because he HAS to have, and HAS to do, everything his sister does. They’re in such a hurry to grow up.
LOL!! Mine is going to be shouting this sort of thing soon… I’m askeerd… :O
