The power of the people is a wonderful thing, wouldn’t you say?

I am forever in the debt of one particular person, Veronica, who started this amazing, wonderful  journey. One person who showed me that there were (lots) of people out there who cared about my girl and were willing to fight with us.

Oh, it’s just not coming out right because I am so excited!

Thank you to everyone,

really.

From the very bottom of my heart…

SHE GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you in hospital, we’re for admission tomorrow, at 10:30 am.

Tiff…….
I am SO HAPPY for you!!! We are in the states, and I remember how hard just making the decision to start three of my children on IVIG was……I cant imagine how hard it would be to make that decision, then be told NO.
Your daughter is so stunningly beautiful…..my heart aches that she’s been hurt so much, the same way it hurts for my own babies to have hurt. I can look at pics of my kids and KNOW, w/o checking the dates, which ones were before IVIG and which ones after. Their color is SO changed…..circles under the eyes are gone…….their eyes are brighter, clearer, there is pink to their cheeks, where once it was just the palest color possible. IVIG changed my childrens lives for the better, and I pray, pray, pray, it will change little Ivy’s life as well.

I just saw the news at Veronica’s site. I’m the father of four. One of my kids spent time in the NICU at birth, and then twice more in the last two years. It’s not the same, but I understand a bit.

So when I say I wish you all the best, it’s coming from someone that’s been there.

And she’s a cutee!

Tiff, this is amazing isn’t it ???

Like Kelley, here’s to no more posts about hospital visits and unwell, unhappy Ivy and to more fantastic, fun posts about summer sun and stuff.

Hugs and prayers for Ivy’s surgery.

OMG how fantastic! Oh I am so pleased that Ivy is getting what she needs. Power of the (internet) people for sure! Incredible. Amazing. The way it should be.

I’ve been away from the computer since Friday night and wasn’t able to check in to see how you and Ivy were doing….I’ve been wondering. I had NO idea that the petition I signed for one sick little girl would have such a quick result! WOW WOW WOW

I am so happy I’m going to get off my chair and do a little jig around the office…I really am!

Best wishes for the surgery
May this be the answer for a healthy life for precious, gorgeous little Ivy
