Wow, not sure its a great combination - grapes and pethidine, but if that is keeping her happy then go for it. So pleased to hear everything went well.

Now breathe a big sigh of relief, thats one more hurdle over and done with and conquered And let your shoulders slump a bit too cause a big sigh is even better when you do that.

Great to hear that Ivy is okay and eating. I’ve just realised why grapes are such great hospital/convalescent food. they’re sweet, easy to nibble on, water based so easily digested and they’re extremely high in fibre (well the skins are) so they help the bowel system return to normal function after surgery has shocked it into constipation.
