Having those things prying my poor TMJ ridden mouth open..a.nd then the PAIN afterward. Thank you for being respectful of it. All I ever got from my mother was "I had them to, I know what it feels like. Stop complaining." Gee, thanks. The end result...hopefully she can focus on that! Best wishes in pain recovery! I got my braces put on 22 years ago but looking at these photos brought back SO many memories!! Huge HUGS to Immy! Pain relief that worked for me was a large thick shake from Maccas that I drank as fast as I could and then I would take some Nurophen with it as well. Mind you Maccas was around the corner from my orthodontist - not sure how helpful that will be for you! *grin* Thoughts and prayers are with you always!! WOW!
