Weekly Winners.
Despite a near impossible week, Sarcastic Mom’s Weekly Winners always brings a smile to my face and makes everything alright for a while.
If you have a passion for photography, why don’t you join in?
Here are my favourites from this week.
Sorry, there are a few…
Before the first Gluten free breakfast…she wasn’t smiling like this afterwards.
Gluten free pancakes…
are really hard to flip!
David reckons these Gluten Free muffins are the best gluten free thing he’s tasted all week. Poor baby. Can anyone say Awwwww?
Monorail caterpillar.
The children’s rose.
Pretty in pink.
I ‘luff’ my Daddy and he loves me…
and me too.
Man love… no, not that kind of man love. Man love of the purist kind.
Just like her mother. Laptop junkie.
This kid has the best sense of humour.
Serenading us with ‘Happy Birthday to you’.
Caught in action…
Time for ‘Twinkle Little Sta – ar – ar – ar’.
Summer melon.
This is my absolute fave for this week. Love me some nudist.
Note his sister’s pink socks…
Nuthin’ but boots.

it was all so good until you pointed out the pink sock.
Hilarious.
Beautiful pictures. Everyone looks so happy.
That last photo is a beauty! There is something about gumboots that calls for nudity I think, because goodness knows that is Amy’s favourite way to wear them.
The rose is gorgeous and the muffins look yummo!
LOVE all the face shots! I loathe your photography skills! Wanna give me some lessons from abroad? =)
Awwwww. Great Photo’s. Those Gluten-Free pancakes do look hard to flip!
Great photos.. Yay.. sorry I haven’t commented for a bit… I have been a tad pickled *burp*
cheers kim xxxx
hahha I wondered if you would post one of the nekkid boy in his boots -has to my favourite.
I lwuv the caterpillar too.
Gluten Free.. Wow! I really need to go in that direction for our family. I’m just scared that it’s too hard. I’ve tried before and failed miserably.
I love your pics -they are always so full of life, love, laughter, and intrigue- and as I’m thinking about it, I must blog roll you!
Raid the gluten-free Basco range of pre-mixed breads, cakes, muffins, etc – they’re easy and taste good. And the bread is almost as good as the gluten stuff and doesn’t cost a gazillion $.
The “Savings” brand of cornflakes in Coles is gluten-free but not the “Home brand” one, it has to say “Savings”.
Contact your state Coeliac Society, they have a small book you can take shopping with you that deciphers the food codes and basically tells you what is and isn’t gluten-free.
Check out Asian grocery stores/supermarkets – they have a huge range of gluten-free flours and stacks of different gluten-free pasta/noodles that are all waaaay cheaper than the supermarkets/health food stores.
Love the pics !
*lol*
How cute!
Those are some great pics. That last shot…ack…too cute!
Have a great week!
That last one is a gem. So funny.
That last one is my fave too. They’re all great, but that one is priceless, esp. the pink socks LOL!
All wonderful! I love “man love” the best!!!
Hope future meals go better. Love the daddy shots and who doesn’t melt when they see a naked baby with boots?
Love the picture of the rose…I’m ready for the flowers to come back out.
And the one of Ivy and Noah at the piano is so precious!
I love the pic of the rose, and the nudist too
I have one of those running around here!
great shot of the two kids playing piano. You really caught how muhc akid puts into their singing.
I love these, all of them!! That’s the second children’s rose shot I’ve seen tonight.
My favourite has to be the B&W with dad
i am a sucker for a naked baby. (wait, that didn’t come out quite right)
anyway, love your shots.
Very nice. How is the gluten-free thing going?
love the pics next to the piano, but I think my favourite this week has to be the laptop junkie!
I hope the gluten-free diet works wonders for your girl…and am really sorry for all the crap you have been going through. I hope this is the light at the end of the tunnel!
I love the black and white of your son laughing — he always looks like he’s going a 100 miles an hour, and so cheerful. And the two of them playing piano are wonderful photos. My daughter’s boots were yellow, and she loved to go outside with nothing but the boots on…
Really terrific photos, as usual!
Great pictures! ‘Pretty in pink’ indeed!!!
Thanks for dropping by, have a great day.
Saw you at the Buzz. What BEAUTIFUL pics! The children are beautiful!!!
WOOHOO, NAKED BABY BUTT!
You know I love it.
(“and me” is killer, Tiff!)
re Jayne’s comment. Coles “Savings” brand has been replace by “You’ll Love Coles”. The product should still be gluten-free, but check the ingredients list anyway unless it clearly states gluten free elsewhere on the box. “HomeBrand” is Woolworths. Hope they all soon adjust to the new tastes and textures .
Great photos. I love the caterpiller!
Um, yeah, as soon as I wrote that, I knew I spelled it wrong …
each one is more precious and well-shot than the last. impossible to single out my favs, though I do love pretty in pink…such a lovely portrait and the two with daddy that follow are delightful. thanks! (oh, I like the watermelon too!)
Wow Tiff – I didn’t know you were having to conquer the gluten-free world too : ( Bummer! I don’t know if you have them in Australia, but the Pamela’s brand pancake mix is AMAZING – they do have it on Amazon.com It does have some buttermilk in the mix and wouldn’t work if you are having to go casein-free too.
The Gluten-Free Pantry mixes (except for the pie crust mix) are really good too. Some of them do have milk products in them so if you are avoiding dairy/casein, be careful. The Gluten-Free Pantry brand Favorite Sandwich Bread mix is really good. It does have milk in it though. (Mine can have milk if it isn’t the main ingredient… a little in some bread is fine – a glass of it – no.)
Sorry I didn’t have a buckwheat pancake recipe for you – I put out an email request for one from some of my gluten-free buddies and hopefully I’ll have something soon for you. If you have any questions I can help you with, just say the word and I’ll do my best.
And I’m lovin’ that last photo! : D
I’m finally getting caught up on Sunday, and I love your pictures! Every week they are awesome. I can’t even pick a favorite, but all of the ones with the kids are adorable!
Oh, and in response to your question on my Winners, White Castles are these little burgers only available in certain areas of the US, and they are notoriously addicting to those who grew up on them yet not so much if you didn’t. Lots of freaks like me consider them the highlight of any trip home
